Recognised as one of the most popular and challenging white water rafting destinations in France, the River Isere flows down from Val d’Isere right the way through the Tarentaise valley and Bourg St Maurice, so easily accessible from our chalet.

You can try your hand at a range of paddle sports including canoeing, rafting, kayaking, canyoning and even fresh water swimming.

Working with our local adventure sports school, we can book you trips out on the Isere River, complete with guides, wetsuits and boat hire.

In Montchavin, there is an indoor heated swimming pool with an outdoor terrace, or a freshwater swimming lake and swimming pool in Bourg St Maurice. 

You can choose to do a week's self-catering, daily or weekly B&B or why not go half board and let us do all the work by producing cooked breakfasts, freshly baked cakes in the afternoon and hearty 4-course meals in the evening.
